This was a factory Seaboard Construction did for a company called Frimax Foods. Frimax Foods is a bug distributor for potato chips in South Africa and other higher parts of Africa.
Frimax Foods required a new distribution centre in Johannesburg, Kya Sands. Seaboard Construction did the entire construction of the building. Starting from the earthworks to the building of the factory. We did the erection of the steel structure, the internal offices, the ceilings, the painting, the tiling, the balustrading and the windows.
To finish the project off we also did the paving on the exterior of the building, motorized roller shutter doors. The best part of this project is that we had 6months to complete this project because the client was expecting a busy December spree of exports and it was in excess of 100 million rands!
The challenge was to get this project done, we managed to deliver on time! The client opened up and 100 million rands worth of busy going through the factory by December.
